Matlock Town FC Stand Appeal - August 21st The annual Matlock Town Golf Day held on Friday 30th July at Chatsworth Golf Club was a huge success, despite the rain trying to spoil things later in the day. We had 24 teams competing and thanks to them we were able to raise in the region of £2,000 towards the stand appeal. Everyone who took part had nothing but good words to say about the course and particularly the greens.   A big thanks must go out to Dave Reynolds, Stewart Baker and Stuart Briddon for organising the day and to Alan Smith who gave up his time to help out on the day. Thank you to Kevin Algar of Raven Silverware who donated the trophies and to all at Chatsworth Golf Club for letting us use the course.  Also, thanks to Tony Weston, Stuart Smith at MCC (Karcher), Mick Elliott at Haddon Estates, Matlock Green Garage, Markovitz and Dave Reynolds for sponsoring the holes.
